In February 2023 we will take twelve new beneficiaries on two snowmobiling expeditions in the Swedish Arctic wilderness. This will be an exhilarating and unforgettable experience for all those involved. The teams will be trained to operate snowmobiles, covering a distance of approximately 600 km. They will move at high speed across frozen lakes, through dense woodland and endure severe arctic temperatures. The expedition teams will stay in Gunarsbyn, Spiken, Gorgiim, Mardsel and Melderstein Herrgard, and will cook on open fires by their accommodation in traditional log cabins.
Highlights of the trip will be crossing the Arctic Circle, the local wildlife, the possibility of seeing the Northern lights, ice fishing, and learning about the local history and culture.
